The DevOps & Cloud Automation Internship at SkilLeo is designed for students who want to gain expertise in modern software development lifecycle practices and infrastructure automation using cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

This internship helps bridge the gap between development and operations, preparing learners to create faster, more reliable, and scalable software deployment pipelines. The program introduces DevOps culture, tools, and principles, including continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring, and containerization.

You’ll begin by understanding the core DevOps lifecycle—from planning and development to testing, release, deployment, and monitoring. Students will gain hands-on exposure to setting up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and integrating version control with Git.

The course also covers Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration, teaching you how to package applications and deploy them in scalable, isolated environments. You'll learn to write and manage Dockerfiles, create Docker images, and deploy multi-container applications.

In the Cloud Automation part, you'll explore:

• Provisioning cloud infrastructure using Terraform

• Automating resource management using AWS CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager

• Configuring cloud servers and storage for deployment readiness

• Deploying containerized apps on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS ECS, EKS)

You’ll also gain familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and CloudWatch, ensuring robust post-deployment visibility and error tracking.
